A Russian Greek god wedding

I sometimes wonder when my life became so random. Sitting at home on Friday post processing some video footage from the previous day, all the batteries in the my cameras spent I got a call to come and shoot photos for a Russian lady here. I three hours no less!

I said yes and quickly ran around the house to find battery chargers, batteries and format cards. Made it to the wedding in time and got to enjoy a night at Sokha Resort here as well as hang out of the sunroof and passenger window of a Lexus. Anyway, a few shots from the day. Not of the bride and groom, just a few of the more random shots.

Another day without power

Yesterday enjoyed a great day of shooting video for Suntour boats, but came home to find the electricity has been cut off. Which is weird because I paid it a few days before.

I went down to complain about this, but Cambodia has such backward infrastructure that the company does not have computer records. They had to search through a mound of receipts that they have to find my one.

Receipt found they said that it will cost $5 to get reconnected, but the good news they will do it today. What and absolute bollocks. Today is one of the 40 holidays that the Khmer have a year, so the people that do it are already pissed, as per tradition in Khmer society, at about 10 in the morning.

Oh well, another hot night sleeping without a fan. Hope I sleep more than last night.
